Eaton Electric is releasing the CurrentWatch family of current sensors and switches used to monitor current flowing in electrically powered equipment. The CurrentWatch family is accurate, highly reliable and easy to install in new and retrofit applications.

With models measuring up to 2,000 amps AC and 300 amps DC, CurrentWatch products are ideal for applications requiring monitoring, protection, status or alarming. Typical applications for CurrentWatch include detecting pump jams, suction loss, motor resistance breakdown, belt loss or slippage, and mechanical failure.

Key features of the CurrentWatch product line:

• AC and DC current sensing
• Solid-core or split-core housings
• Self-powered, 24 volt AC/DC or 120 volt AC power
• Analog or discrete outputs for interfacing with control equipment
