Eaton has released the Circutor MKD series of energy meters. Measuring active and reactive energy in three phase applications, the MKD is feature packed and comes in three models to suit a wide range of applications.

In a compact 6 module DIN case, its green backlit display allows better reading in low visibility areas. It performs True RMS measurements for networks with voltages up to 500Vac Ph-Ph, with direct current (no need for CTs) up to 120A.

The MKD can be programmed for top or bottom load cabling and has resettable, programmable partial energy meters. Its auxiliary power supply range is 90-500 Vac and it continues to measure if power fails, thanks to embedded FRAM memory. It has two scalable energy digital pulse outputs that are programmable to represent active or reactive energy.

The MKD offers various digital input configurations, RS485 Modbus RTU communication and is compatible with PowerStudio SCADA software.
