Circutor Current Transformers

This has primary coil, bushing bar and shared core transformers in panel and DIN rail versions. It can measure from 5/5 A up to 5000/5 A, depending on type. Transformers with built in converter
(4 ... 20 mA). Transformers encapsulated in resin for measurement and/or protection.
 

The current transformers are used to measure current passing through a conductor. If it is a new installation, then bushing bar transformers are usually used. Whereas, if it is for an already operating installation, shared core transformers are usually used, as this avoids the installation having to be stopped and the conductor dismantled to install the transformer, thus saving time and money.
