The ST8 series of Disconnectors offer improved safety and optional locking facilities for greater safety

Eaton Electric Systems has extended its ST8 fuse disconnector range to now include 250, 400 and 630A frame size units.

The ST8 series of fuse disconnectors feature a parked position for the fuse handle and fuses. The parked position means the fuses cannot be inadvertently inserted into the circuit providing improved operator safety. In addition, touch protection of IP20 can be maintained when the front cover is in test mode.

The ST8 series offer generous cable and busbar connection space as well as a variety of connection options and extension covers. Also included in the ST8 series is the RST8 or RAPID connection version.

RST8 offers fast and easy connection to 40 or 60mm busbar systems suiting 5 or 10mm thick bars all in the one unit. ST8 disconnectors are manufactured from halogen free/self extinguishing material and are tested to comply with IEC947.3 up to 690V.
